Power outage affecting more than 2,700 PG&E customers in Shasta County


SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. - PG&E crews are working to restore power to more than 2,700 customers in Shasta County impacted by two separate outages.

The outages were first reported at 11:37 a.m. Tuesday morning in areas north and east of Redding. 

The larger of the 2 outages is affecting 1,809 customers in an area stretching from Lake Boulevard north to Pine Grove and east to Sugar Pine Conservation Camp.

The second outage is affecting 990 customers east of Redding, between Redding and Palo Cedro.

The PG&E website says they expect to have power restored by 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and the cause of the outages is still being determined.
