Shasta County Sheriff's deputies arrested one after a neighbor dispute ended with shots being fired, but no injuries.

Officials reported that deputies were called to the 16000 block of Dot Lane, in Anderson, shortly before 7 p.m. Friday evening.

Deputies spoke to Angela Rollins who reported, prior to deputies arriving, she was outside her residence with her husband and the children, ages ranging from 8 to 10 years old. While the family was in their front yard, their neighbor, Betty Frances Sanders, 84, and her husband approached the fence between the two properties and became upset about Rollins' children.

Rollins told deputies that Sanders was upset due to her children riding motorcycles and being noisy. An argument ensued and Sanders allegedly shot one round from a handgun towards Rollins and her family, who were about 20 feet away.

Deputies spoke to Sanders, found her handgun, and arrested her for assault with a firearm and child endangerment.

Bail was set at $50,000, and no one was injured during the incident.
