Shasta High School defeats Marin Catholic, heads to State Championship

Shasta celebrates after a win against Chico High School

REDDING, Calif. - Shasta High School won against Marin Catholic on Shasta's home turf Saturday night, sending them to the state championship.

Shasta won with a final score of 40-27 after scoring 19 unanswered points in the 3rd quarter.

The Wolves will face the Southern California winner between Bishop Diego of Santa Barbara and Quartz Hill of Lancaster for the State Division 3-AA title on December 16.
