Trinity County Sheriff's Office needs two new K9's

The Trinity County Sheriff's Office is looking for help to purchase two new K9's.

Last month, K9 Kash died suddenly of an illness and now the sheriff's office say K9 Johnny has fallen ill and is currently hospitalized.

While K9 Johnny is expected to recover from his illness, the sheriff's department says they are doubtful of his ability to return to work.

Officials say with the death of K9 Kash and the illness of K9 Johnny, the K9 Unit is depleted.

The Trinity County Sheriff's Auxiliary is currently accepting donations, to assist with the purchase of two new K9's.
