1 arrested following family dispute, fight at gas station
RED BLUFF, Calif. —
The Tehama County Sheriff's Office arrested a man they say fought and threatened to shoot his adult nephew.
According to sheriff's officials, Ivory Cousins, 42, had been in a fight with his nephew, James Mathews, Jr, 29, at the Mobil Gas Station around 3 a.m. Thursday morning.
Matthews told deputies that his uncle struck him in the face causing a large cut above his left eye. Matthews also said that as he was leaving his uncle stated he was going to get a gun and kill Matthews.
Cousins was arrested for criminal threats and battery with great bodily injury.
