Wilson Fire grows to 250 acres

According to Cal Fire, the Wilson Fire has grown to 250 acres. 400 fire personnel are working on the fire.

Cal Fire reported via Twitter on Friday that they are aiding the Lassen National Forest in battling a new wildfire in the area of Wilson Lake Road and Lost Creek Road, 10 miles northwest of Chester.

According to the U.S. Forest Service, the fire has burned around 50 acres and began sometime around 2 p.m. on Friday. It is being called the Wilson Fire.

Engines and aircraft are on the way to assist.
