New Ross Store coming to Red Bluff
RED BLUFF, Calif. - Ross 'Dress For Less' Clothing store will be coming to Tehama County in Red Bluff in 2018 and moving into the former Walmart Supercenter building that's been vacant since March of 2016.
The news was announced on Wednesday, Dec. 6, on Facebook by the Tehama County Economic Development page. Many comments about the new store were positive.
Tehama County Economic Development Liaison, Amanda Jenkins, said it won't be the only store moving in the building.
"It will not be just Ross and we don't have any other names as of right now. Ross is the only one with the lease signed. However, they will be splitting up the building," said Jenkins. "It could be up to seven stores. They're looking at three in the front, one around the back and some stores on the side as well."
Jenkins said the new lease of Ross Dress For Less is a step forward for more job and shopping opportunities for residents.
"The Economic Development team is so excited about the jobs that this will create for our residents and also we hear all the time that people in our town want more shopping opportunities, more clothing store opportunities and this will give them that as well."
Construction on the building will start in January of 2018. The Ross Dress For Less clothing store is set to open in the late summer.
