Suspect remains on the loose after stabbing at Corning Jack in the Box


CORNING, Calif. - The Corning Police Department is searching for a man who was allegedly involved in a stabbing at the Jack in the Box on December 22. 

Police said they were dispatched to a physical disturbance involving two men in the Jack in the Box parking lot, located at 3098 Highway 99 West, around 10:50 a.m. Police added the two men left the area prior to their arrival. 

The Corning Police Department later received information regarding a man who was being treated for injuries consistent with a stabbing. During the investigation officers learned Juliano Vito Acuna, 25, from Corning, and Santino Acuna, 28, from Corning, were responsible for the attack. 

Police said Juliano has been arrested but Santino is still outstanding. Juliano is being held on charges of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
