More than 150 pounds of processed marijuana, all components of a Butane Honey Oil (BHO) lab and several sheets of BHO were seized after authorities responded to a structure fire that turned out to be caused by a BHO lab explosion, according to the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said two suspects, who are residents of Washington, were taken into custody last Saturday for operating the lab: 26-year-old Spencer Burguan and 29-year-old Kelly Burguan.

On Jan. 6 deputies said they found the lab after responding to a structure fire with the Hyampom Fire Dept. When officials arrived, they said they were able to subdue the fire, saving the majority of the structure itself and keeping it from spreading to neighboring structures. Once the flames were extinguished, deputies said they discovered the BHO lab.
