Crescent City man killed, murder suspects at large
JOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore. - Police in Oregon are searching for two people indicted for the murder of a 22-year-old Crescent City man, according to officials.
The Oregon State Police Criminal Investigations Division said they began investigating the death of John Reitterer, from Crescent City, last June. Reitterer was located in a shallow creek off the Illinois River Road in Oregon, and his death was determined to be a homicide, police said.
Then on Nov. 28, 2017, police said a Josephine County Grand Jury indicted three people on the charge of murder, and warrants were issued for their arrests.
Elizabeth Hudson, 22, also known as “Little Red,” 19-year-old Damien Atwood, also known as “Bubba J” and Michael Eldred, 22, were all charged, according to police.
Police said Eldred was found and booked into jail, but the whereabouts of the other two, Hudson and Atwood, are unknown. According to authorities, the pair is known to frequent the Cave Junction area.
