The Eureka Police Department has taken over the missing persons investigation of Kiera Lynn Foley, 32.

On June 28, Foley was reported as a missing person to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office by a family member. Foley is believed to be missing under unknown circumstances, the Eureka Police Department said.

The HCSO issued a press release on June 30, asking for the public’s assistance.

Based on information received thus far, it was determined that the Eureka Police Department would assume the lead on the investigation, officials announced Thursday.

It is believed that Foley was last seen in Eureka in early April. According to the EPD, Foley was last seen with her black and brown long-haired Chihuahua.

Foley is described as a white woman, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 125 pounds, with brown eyes, and brown hair, possibly dyed blond.

Anyone with information on Foley’s possible whereabouts should contact Detective Marsolan at tmarsolan@ci.eureka.ca.gov or 707-441-4109.
