Highway 101 traffic backed up because of rollover crash

Traffic backed up on Highway 101 and Indianola after rollover crash.

Traffic on Highway 101 north is backed up past the Indianola cutoff because of a single rollover car accident, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

According to the CHP CAD website, it happened at about 4 p.m. on Friday. No one was injured, according to the CHP.

The lone occupant of the vehicle, a woman, was seated in the back of a Humboldt County Sheriff's Office car while authorities maintained traffic and waited for a tow truck to remove the vehicle from the grass meridian, where it had come to rest on its roof.
