North Fork Lumber Company selected as best Humboldt County business to work for

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. — The North Fork Lumber Company in Korbel has been selected as the best company to work for in Humboldt County.

Humboldt County Supervisors recognized the lumber company earlier this month.

The "Best Business" campaign was organized by the County Administrative Office's Economic Development Team (GoHumCo) last year to celebrate an employer who makes workplace satisfaction a priority. It looks to recognize an employer who, "s rated highly by its employees on a variety of workplace dynamics including benefits, culture, and employee-based initiatives," according to county officials.

A winner was selected based on employee feedback and voting.
