FORTUNA, Calif. — According to the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office, they arrested multiple people on March 6 after finding 21 ounces of heroin in a vehicle during a drug bust.
They say the Humboldt County Drug Task Force was involved, they say 44-year-old Sara Marie Carnemolla, 51-year-old Sulynn Huong Johnson, and 47-year-old Amy Elizabeth Osborne were the ones arrested.
It was around 12:45 a.m. that deputies say agents pulled the three over on Highway 101 near the Van Duzen Bride and conducted a search warrant. That's where agents say they found approximately 21 ounces of heroin packaged for sales and other miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.
Deputies say Carnemolla and Johnson were subsequently booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for possession and transportation of controlled substances for sales. They added that Osborne’s medical condition was not suitable for incarceration and charges for her will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
