SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. — Paradise shook off their suspensions and defeated West Valley on Friday night to earn a title slot.
Both West Valley and Paradise were undefeated going into Friday night's game making for a good match-up.
The Paradise Bobcats were down six players, benched by the league after last week’s playoff game.
However, the suspensions didn't stop them. At the half, the score was 21-0 Bobcats.
The West Valley Eagles scored 13 points in the second half.
The 28-13 win put the Bobcats into the Northern Section Division 3 Championship game next week where they could move on to a regional bowl game and then qualify for a state championship.
Paradise will play Sutter next Saturday in the CIF Northern Northern Section Division III final.
