REDDING, Calif. — The night of Friday, October 25 was a night that many football fans in Shasta County have been waiting for, the River Bowl Rivalry.
In the game between Shasta High School Wolves and the Enterprise High School Hornets, the Wolves walked away with the win.
The Hornets started the game off with two touchdowns in the first quarter, leaving the Wolves behind.
However, the Wolves came back with a vengeance!
In the third quarter, Shasta High overcame Enterprise by three points, with 29 Shasta and 26 Enterprise.
At the end of the game, the final score was 38 - Shasta Wolves, and 28 - Enterprise Hornets.
This is the fifth year in a row the Shasta High School Wolves have won the River Bowl.
