Connect With Allison Woods

A Kansas native, Allison Woods received her BS in Mass Communications from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. After receiving her degree, she moved to Arkansas where her television career began, since then she has worked in different parts of Arkansas and in Joplin, Missouri.

Living in the mid-west, Allison has covered some of nature’s greatest wrath, including the Joplin tornado, floods, snow and ice storms. She also spent a week with John Walsh covering a case on America’s Most Wanted.

Both of her parents are native Californians, so as a child, Allison split many of her summers between the southern and northern parts of California. The "Golden State" has always held a special place in her heart, so after years of working in the southern part of the U.S., Allison is excited to call California her new home.

Allison loves to travel, she has traveled around the world to 13 different countries. She also loves the outdoors, and is looking forward to getting to know her new community, as well as exploring the rugged beauty of northern California.
