Andy graduated with a Master’s degree in Sports Journalism in December of 2017 from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.
Before discovering reporting was his primary passion, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Film & Media Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2013.
During his time at ASU, he reported for both the Phoenix and Los Angeles Sports Bureaus. While in California, Andy covered the Pac-12 Media Days for football, the U.S. Paralympic National Championships, and the World Series of Beach Volleyball.
In Arizona, he was a beat reporter for the Arizona Diamondbacks during their playoff push and interned with AZPreps 365, broadcasting high school football games every Friday night.
Born in Connecticut, Andy moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico when he was 3 and lived there for 15 years before heading off to college. He grew up loving all different kinds of sports, but dedicated most of his time to playing tennis.
Andy is also a big-time film buff and loves cooking, running, and travelling.
